FCC Exams

Our club administers FCC amateur radio license exams four times annually, immediately following the club meeting, on the second Wednesday in the months of January, April, July and October.

Pre-registration is required at least 72 hours prior to the exams by contacting Fred Miller-KBØWIL (573) 221-2429 or by e-mail at kb0wil@arrl.net . Check with Fred Miller a few days before the exams to reconfirm the date, time and place of the exams. Bring a photo ID and another ID, original and a photocopy of applicable CSCE(s), and the original and photocopy of your valid FCC license. Test fee amounts for the current year are set out in the monthly newsletter, and should be payable in cash, check, or money order to ARRL/VEC.  The VE team members volunteer their time as a public service. Walkins for exams are allowed at the discretion of the VE's.
